With the good hybrio's getting harder to find it might worth my looking into those. What shops stock them?Uniross is good, its what I use.
I have heard that the Sanyo Eneloop batteries are better tho.
Eneloop is the best. I previously used Uniross but now use Eneloops. Google a bit and you will see theyare the best.
That's why I keep a couple dozen in my camera bag.I found GP better than Uniross. But a set of Hybrios is worthwhile to have because they stay charged.
+1Uniross Hybrio - 2100ma.
Uniross Hybrio - 2100ma. Make sure you get the ones that actually have 2100ma on the battery.
I'll try and find the post but they're trying to pull a fast one by claiming some of their 1900ma batteries are 2100's. The best thing about these is they come pre-charged and they hold their charge when not in use.
+1
Uniross also does a fairly large free battery recycling initiative in SA, so they get my support.
Large Pick 'n Pays. Look for man size green roundish cardboard containers /w uniross markings. They sort the batteries by type & then either recycle or dispose of them correctly.Interesting... any idea where the drop off points are?

Only one I've actually seen is in the PicknPay hypermarket on Atterbury road (PTA).
I find energizer last much longer than Uniross.
Those grey, four battery, chargers that come with the uniross batteries are possibly the worst charger you can use. What about Maha and Hahnel? I have not seen these around, but heard some good reports about them.
Must say that I have had good performance from GP and Hybrios. How important is it to use the original charger with the batteries, or will chargers do the same job?
