Of course it can.

I make cocktails on the regular with no issues at all.

But a dedicated crusher makes for a better consistency though.

I have all 3. Get the omniblend if you're crushing ice. Otherwise, a nutribullet is fine.

...so got the unit yesterday and made my first smoothie. Well, it was lemonade and epic:

1x lemon, 1x tsp raw honey, 1x tsp molassas, 1x part ginger, and top up to max with cool water.

Normally I'd just mix in raw honey instead of added molasses as well.
