Best streaming box

Out of interest...do you ever download content?

I stream the vast majority of my content but must admit to sailing the high seas a few times a month as well. Especially for the content that's not readily available locally. And yes then the usb port on my streaming box obviously gets used. Without one...just creates too many alternative options , all of them being a pain in the ass.

Yes I run a fully automated setup with Plex + Radarr + Sonarr for anything I can’t stream. No pain whatsoever, log into web interface, add show/movie and it appears in Plex by itself.

Hence no need for anything as banal and prehistoric as a USB port.

I don’t think I even have a flash drive any more, those are at the office in a desk drawer.

Bee tv or nova tv or cinema HD or tea tv with real debrid. Any can be downloaded with apktime and easily updated.

I don't understand why people still download when you can just watch what you want by clicking a button.

I wouldn't get an apple tv as you can't sideload one of these apps on Apple. I have a R3000 apple tv (paper weight) sitting next to my mi box.

I really wouldn't give 2 hoots about av1 or av2 as long as it easily installed the app I needed to run my tv.

No thanks. Prefer Kodi with Seren and alldebrid since it updates itself.

Each to their own. Some of us "own" remuxes, USB ports are non-negotiable.

How about something like the khadas vim 4?

I can run some emulation on it, and maybe a backup plex server.
