I got the Mediabox. No problems at all.
 
Old thread but I got the Leap S1 and am very impressed and happy for about 5months now. It has 2xUSB ports vs the Mi Box. So its possible to have an Air mouse and HDD connected at same time. One of those ports are USB3.0 as well. Having an external USB will need formatting if you want to write but is fine for READ ONLY. I wanted to write so copied my data back onto drive after formatting as local storage.
 
upgraded over the weekend, i was trapped with 2x LIT tv bricks for the last 6 months, fiiiiiinally got a Apple TV 4th gen (HD not 4K) anyone got any tips/tricks/app/game suggestions?

But it can't do HDR YouTube?

And the Apple eventually caught up to the rest and can do more than 1080 resolution? Still can't do auto HDR switch on YouTube?

Neither can do the new AV1 hardware encoding?

So #1 and #2 box are limited in features - but you scoff at #3 which works, it just doesn't have the same brand and snob appeal?

I just want to understand because you seem to nothing about, well, anything - and yet you have opinions on things that you don't know?

Do you have a reason why you suggest? Or is because it's expensive and money is big thing for you?

Money is a common theme with you and makes you overlook flaws in what you suggest product wise

The title is the Best Streaming box and you're saying that the 100 million+ are happy with Android boxes, are lying?

Yet you who paid multiples more and can't do as much as they can on your box, actually have the 'better' box because you spent more?

You clearly have formed your own opinion of me, and that’s your prerogative. It’s also news to me that money is a common theme with me, I don’t see myself ever posting in the financial section, I never mention where I work, how much I earn, where I live, what I drive, how much I spend etc. so I am not quite sure how you even got to that one.

But anyways it always gets personal with you and if you would please just ignore me and my posts, I don’t wish to engage with you anymore so shall we call it a night.

Bumping this....my so need a new tv box, which one is better the mi box s or the new mi tv stick 4k?
I am also thinking maybe i should give her my mi box s and get an Nvidia shield/apple tv

4k stick since it supports the new av1 codec. The Apple TV doesn't support Kodi so not sure why you'd want to downgrade.
