I need some warm socks especially when out and about and hiking but my shoes don't have space for typical thick winter socks but I remember seeing some kind of merino wool socks by Falke if I recall correctly that were as thick as a normal socks but still very warm.

What socks are thin but still noice and toasty?

Dischem Heat Holders are the best and cheapest, but just know your feet will sweat so use powder.

I use 2 pairs of thinner socks instead of one thicker sock for my winter rides. Although obviously my foot isnt moving as much as it does when hiking.

I also feel the quality of Falke isnt what it was... Had a few pairs of mtb socks split.

I have those on the list, they even make a "thin" version, have you tried the thin ones?
Hemp-fibre socks. They last forever too.
How soft/comfortable is hemp and is it really warmer relative to cotton or merino?

The problem is even 2 thin pairs is too much, I'm probably already on the upper limit of my shoe size and you are supposed to size up if you want space for winter socks but then for the rest of the year you have to walk around with shoes that are too big.
I only wear these socks. Winter & summer, to the office and for casual wearing. A pair will last you about 4 years if you wear it 2 to 3 times a week.

Seamless Medisock

Or try these ones. Also a very good choice

Original Medisock
I have heard of those, are they warmer than normal cotton socks though, the webpage doesn't specifically mention them being a warm alternative?

Alpaca, not as prickly as mohair.
Where can I get those, it's similar to cashmere?
I have found even ultra fine merino wool a bit scratchy but cashmere is amazing.

Dischem heat holder - the 1.6 thickness
Are they noticeably warmer than cotton socks?
It’s these ones it looks like:

Did you get then from here?

I bought 4 pairs at the first Cannabis Festival. I can't tell you who the sellers were or what it cost as I was high as Jesus riding Starship Dragon. It was in 2019, right?

Come to think if it..I've never been that high since.
Anyway, I still have all 4 pairs in good condition. I only wear them on occasion.

I won't hike in them; I reckon thicker material would be better suited.
Perhaps wear all 4 pairs simultaneously.
