best vista app

I don't know. I just find it funny that you're running a beta program on a beta operating system.
 
Click Shutdown! Once the system is off, the process should be dead! :D
 
Theres a prog called killbox that does what you want to do. Haven't tried it under Vista though.
 
you ctrl alt delete and stop it there

as ivan says if you cannot close it there nothing will

remember vista is only as good as the user hahaha
 
If the process runs at startup you can try this:

Run -> msconfig

Disable the process/program which will run at startup (do a selective startup I think). This should keep the process from starting when your Windows Vista gets loaded :)
 
Make sure that you have admin rights. Some processes cannot be closed, e.g. AV and Firewall services, even if you are admin though. Has something to do with the permissions but I've not figured it out yet.

There is also a registry hack somewhere where you can reduce the time it takes for vista to autokill it when it does not respond.
