best way to remove ASK updater

Hi All;

Installed zonealarm pro the other day and its already showing promise;


I dont have ask toolbar on my firefox; I dont have the obvious way to remove ask updater/toolbar service (via control panel)
but I keep denying APN updater/ TBnotifier access to the internet as they were hiding in plain sight all this time;

got hijack this; saw 2 entries related to these 2; deleted them;
cant seem to uninstall APN updater.exe completely from my PC and its sucking CPU usage trying to connect to my internet constantly;

anything else I can use; all the google results point to even bigger malware downloads to install more cr@p on my PC;

hijack this is great but dosent seem to totally remove this adaware;

strange that malwarebytes dosent detect this program; didnt come up before in any other scans;

Try hitman pro works free for a month, i usually have to use a combination of hitman pro and spybot to remove this junk.

I like Malwarebytes it does a good job too, and if you want something different, try IOBIT Malware Fighter or whatever it is...

malware bytes pro didnt even pick this thing up at all;

gonna try hitman and spybot; spybot installed didnt pick it up, will try hitman next....
