Hey,
Not to sure if this has come up here, but have you guys tried the Firefox plugin, Better Gmail 2? Really makes gmail look different
Yes, I tried it... and it is nice... but somehow I just like my Gmail plain.
If you have a super-powered computer though, that might go nice with a black theme. Esp. if you are using the NASA night black theme for Firefox.

Does it only work with older versions?
Older Gmail versions? Works fine on the new version with me. If you mean Firefox versions it works on FF3 too.

Dunno, i run my gmail account through Thunderbird
Me too but this is useful for the occasional times I use the web interface. Thunderbird seems to have been timing out with Gmail IMAP lately.

If you mean the "older gmail", then there is a older version of Better Gmail (1.1.3)
