In the last 3 - 4 months my Tablet has not been out of the house, so have not used any 3G at all...

Gutter reported the issue to the DMASA, but said that one of their counter-arguments was that the address he used had a three letter username.

Sounds like a silly counter-argument to me. It seems unlikely that spammers would try brute force a private domain when so many public domains with many more associated email addresses are available. Gutter should be able to use his mail logs as evidence against brute force searches?

Pretty sure apps can pull the cell number too & send that to some shady corner of the internet. Seems more likely than the VC angle tbh.
