I've been thinking, this post has enlightened me, I see that the people who drive with fog lights know it is illegal and don't care, my Corsa B doesn't have fog lights but I think I'll fit mini strobe lights in there, next time some guy in his fog lights drive past give him a flash with the strobe and watch the guy run into a tree.

"Oh I thought it made my car look cool, you couldn't see anything? Weird I had trouble seeing with your fog lights on but the strobe made my vision so much better".

Btw. you see better if you have brighter lights on your car, therefore older cars suffer more from fog lights VS. newer cars, at least that is my experience.
 
Mmmm yeah, maybe I should put some retina burning fog lights on my cars and flash all those retard foglight drivers blind. Maybe they'll get a clue then... :D

That left me in STITCHES bro. I really cant believe there is a 14 page thread about this stupid topic. Fog lights (IN THE FRONT OF A CAR) are the same strength as youre normal lights. Leave them on if you think it makes your car look better, cause it makes no difference.

Yes technically it is illegal, but then so is urinating in public, and how many guys have went for a quick whizz in the bush somewhere public? Im betting most of you. So please stop crying like babies about things being 'illegal' and comparing these people to criminals. You have to be a retard to liken someone who leaves fog lights on to the real violent and savage criminals we have in this country.

You are the retard, the damn things can be blinding at night. There is a reason they have limitations on them, and its certainly not spoiling someones sick look.

EDIT: And oh yeah, when you need to piss, you NEED to piss. Its a bodily function, there is no vboldiy function for "having my fog lights on".

Maybe a compirmise can be reached thought between all us retards:
Would you guys be satisifed if fogs had two settings? A fainter non fog one and a proper fog one to use only in the right conditions? So your cars can look sick without blinding everyone.

I see that these fog lights are called "look at me lights" in the UK and they are generally associated with young boys in GTi's with big speakers in the boot. That stereotype seems to be very accurate given the fact that at least three of the fog light idiots on this thread are know GTi drivers.

Another pet peeve of mine is people that drive around at dusk with their parking lights on. And if the car is equipped with fog lights, they switch those on too. What's up with these morons? They are certainly not all attempting to park their cars, are they? Do they figure that it is just slightly dark so they just need to produce a little bit of light?!

One would have thought that the name would have been a clue: Parking lights are for parking and fog lights are for fog.

The reason for blinding everyone at night is because they don't want you to see their car at all, most likely because it's a back yard tuned piece of ****. I mean anyone can drill holes in their exhaust to make it sound sick or fscked. Personally I don't need to have a sick looking car because the car does not make the man, the car needs me to make it look good. You feel me? :D :rolleyes:

Anyway ladies that's your first lesson in building your own self-esteem. You can't do it behind your fog lights, tinted windows and the car insurance your parents pay for.
