BF 3 CPU scaling

Maybe our definition of perfect is not the same, but on the uber test rig @ Tomshardware they only manage 46fps on high (60+ is perfect) so when someone tells me their 460 does Ultra perfect I get suspicious.
 
I made no mention of FPS numbers on my setup or to what extent the GTX460 is OC'd to either. Frames per second numbers over 30 in my opinion is like arguing over what is better, Coke or Pepsi.

For me it runs perfectly, so be it.
 
Well unless your card is oc'd to GTX 580 levels I don't see how that is going to make too much of a difference. 60 FPS is the standard for good FPS, go and google if you wish. Maybe say that your definition is different before proclaiming miracles. No point arguing though I agree, enjoy the slide show.

I don't really have any problems when gaming at 30FPS... Sure, when I do quick little spins on COD, then I 'might' see a jitter, but it doesn't effect my gaming experience... I do prefer having higher FPS, but it's not something that is really vital to gaming :p.

Let's put it this way, if i run ultra with all the trimmings i get about 70 FPS with a 6990 and if there is a load of smoke from tanks and so on it dips under 40, you can run ultra as long as you turn the trimmings off but in all honesty it is the trimming that make it look insane.

You must get your mic fixed you chop :D
