Dude, edit your profile, include the area you live in so that maybe... just MAYBE, another member from MyBB can do for you, what Surv0 is doing for me.

If people don't know what area you are from, they won't bother to offer.

This place is full of people who are willing to help out, but they can't and won't help if they don't know where you from etc.

yeah hopefully it will be done,,, i just need the mappack.. i will download the other 740 meg one from do broadband whem i can get the other one aswell.

if it is done will you be able to upload to another place that we can all download from maybe?

if u know of a place to upload PM me,, i can probaly download from there too. and help with it

I spose torrents are the only other option as im not aware of another FTP that we can use. Ill only upload and seed if somebody will seed with me while downloading...

if you send me the torrent file i will seed with you when i am in ZA on saturday.

Is there anyone in the Pretoria area that has the core maps?

I am half way with the core mod, should be done in 3hrs, and I have already downloaded the server files.

If I only knew this was out, I could have downloaded it while I was in the States.
 
Guys im getting serious issues with this download:

On FileZilla I get this message:

Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of ftp.uwc.ac.za
Status: Connecting to 196.21.45.45:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

And then I don't know what to do. I also tried downloading it with Firefox, but im only getting 1.5kbps per file!!!!!!!

EDIT: Now its gone up to 2.8kbps HORAY!!!!!!!!!!

I normally get a top speed of 40kbps.

What to do guys??
 
Guys I am glad to also seed with you guys.. We need to get this on our PCs before the end of this month (waste of local bandwidth otherwise).
 
Soo ive only managed 300 megs of the whole map pack so far...
going incredibly slow, i presume this ftp has certain priorities and we are not part of that group. So slow speeds hopefully until tonight, then i should have by tomorrow morning.
Will keep you posted.
