Boring? only if you suck at it.
There are plenty of good players on the local servers and p00ning them makes it interesting every time.
Besides there are badges and ranks to work for which keeps it interesting.

Yeah have to agree - i started playing in 2005, played hectically, then stopped for a while, and now getting back into it. leet skillz have all come back and it is much fun playing urban servers and taking out all those annoying BFC/FIB and the likes :) I do find it annoying playing on the normal servers because there are just some people who are 2 good in the jets.

I reckon im gonna go buy a joystick to try and take them on.

For now AIX2 is quite nice, its a change of scenery. Jets are awesome and so are the new weapons..

yeah but a few new things to use is always cool. I dont play like a robot and use battlefild as it was work.

I dont care if i am good or not, i just like to play and have fun, do new things.

u can download one....its not very big.. and its really easy to use. only thing is there is this one tutorial that helps you set it up,, after that u make what u wants really..

Who would play a game thats like work?
Its not a quick jump in and know everything about type game. It takes time to learn the dynamics and everything there is to it.
It also explains why there are players from SA with more than 2500 hours on it.
Its your opinion if you get bored though. I would like to get all of the normal BF2 players on to AIX for a few days to see whats its really like.

The last times that I played it were awesome except for one fatal flaw - the rounds were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short.

yeah true fun lies in understanding the game as a whole, the play dynamics and strategies etc. Knowing how to control certain vehicles and aim certain weapons. Knowing the usual routes with a quick trigger finger helps loads.

It can get boring if you are doing the same things over, like missioning on your own. Team up with a good squad, and use them to bring mayhem down on the opposing side.

I only really started enjoying it when i could playing it professionally and not casually. I have played in a number of tournaments and those were awesome.

But that aside, i do think if you enjoy BF2, you will enjoy this and the download is definitely worth it.
 
What are the other maps you posted?
Has anyone player the single player system with ranking?

damnit, i tried to download this initially, then i opted for the map pack on do gaming server. C now there are new maps in rotation, guess im gonna have to download tonight.
