BF2 vs BF2142

Hi Guys

This is my problem.

I like realistic non fictunal games... that makes me think BF2
Then u have Fictunal BF2142.

So which would you choose. is anyone still playing BF2 ?

Wanting to Get BF2 but won't if no-one is playing any more
 
lol... i actually prefer BF2 because i don't like the whole future theme on BF... If i really wanted to play a future game i would get halo2 or something that is designed to be in the future right form the word go.
 
BF2 by far. but 2142 is ok now and then

PS. BF2 is NOT that realistic. everything is adjusted to add balance. still best game EVER
 
I didn't like the whole "you only get weapons if you play alot" stance of BF2142 so yeah, BF2 is better. I still play BF1942 mind you.
 
bf2 is realistic to a fun point, its has alot of bugs but for the most part its quite realistic

objects just take longer to die which adds to the fun factor

2142 is dull dreary laggy fulla bugs even worse than bf 2

personally i never liked 2142 i think mainly cause the rocket launcher sucked

took to long to fire which means using it as your primary weapon is not a good idea unless you wanna get owned over and over

fire wait 2 seconds fire

but urban 2142 is alot of fun

If u one that like realistic games u should really try brother in arms it is the most realistic game i ever played if u have no played it already;)
 
BF2 is ace.

Don't let the current few bad apples with have in the community put you off playing online. They will be getting their comeuppance soon enough.

Go over to the SGS forums and have a little read up there.

Once you get into it, you'll totally love BF2. Just remember to get a mic, and not to act like a smacktard :)
 
Most realistic FPS i played was GRAW, but very few players (almost none) on local server..so I switched to BF
 
2142 definitely seems to have more smacktards.
No wonder I'm preferring BF2 these days.
 
BF2 prolly 4-5 times a week.
BF2142 now and then .. more then than now lately .. too damn laggy.

@Fudzy ... 1942? SERIAAAASLY? Where? When? I'd love another go at it for old-time's sake. Do you play on an unshaped line?

Mon = BF2 clan practise
Tue = Rest .. phew.
Wed = BF2 Special Forces.
Thu = BF2 Armoured Furry / Euro Forces.
Fri = BF2142 ... probably urban maps cos titan is waaaay too laggy.
Sat = BF2142 during the day and test drive unlimited / something else
Sun = BF2 clannie.
*sigh* No more time.
