bg=Huntards in AV 80%

I have been farming some honour marks of wsg ab and av on lvl 59
for my lvl 70 epics cause i hear horde loses almost every lvl 70 AV lol.
On my server TH.

On lvl 60 we have not lost 1 lvl 60 av i was in this weekend.
But i think thats due to people on horde side with lvl 60 epics .

One thing that i dont like about AV is its 80% huntards i was the only Druid
for 2 matches.My main job was to put hunter pets down with hybernate since i am ballance spec i had fun :).Spamming moonfire on hunters and force of nature but as feral AV suck.

So i see all these hunters in AV how do all these guys get partys
it like everyones rolling just hunters lol.
I really think on my server we got like 3 times more hunters than any other class.

Hunters are prob the easiest solo class in the game. So most of these people dont need to get groups :D

AS for level 70 Horde AV win/loose, that should be sorted out now since AV is so much shorter. It seems like the win loose ratio is more like 50% now.
 
It's annoying to end every sentence with lol, lol.

Im assuming that TH stands for Twilights Hammer, a realm where i have been playing on since the day it went live ~3years ago, lol

It doesnt matter from wich server you are form, all the entries for BG's are shuffled between all the same language servers and pumped into one BG server, lol. Hence all the server names under the char names, lol.

Hunters are the easiest to twink and lvl and play for that matter, lol. I also have a 70 hunter on Jaedenar with 4 pieces Season 3 and Full Season 2 (can get these for honor now) and horde wins like 70% of the AV's im in, lol.

Sure they can solo trash world mobs and even 1 or 2 elites maybe 3 if they know how to play but i am talking about dungeons here when i say party only time i need a party with my druid is in dungeons.I just never see them in dungeons and the ones that do get inv get kicked shortly after for over pulls agro pissing of healer or the tank lol.:D

I got to hunters but i dont even want to lvl them because of bad rep
too many noobs roll hunter and there just too many bot hunters too.

I recomended a hunter for my noob friend cause i know they are easy mode
but i told him to drop the hunter for something more wanted on server like healer or tank class even rogue dps is better.

Its a good class but mrpg is about team work not soloing i think thats why they frak up in dungeons cause they so use to solo.

I think thats wrong.
As far as i know certain realms belong to specific battlegroups.

So your battleground will have players from all the realms belonging to that battlegroup.
Its not all realms.

That post made my eye's bleed.

If you think a Hunter isn't an essential class then you fall into the same category you're putting all the hunters into. The n00b class.

While Hunters have a bad rep because of the high percentage of fools who play it, a good hunter is a player to be cherished because they're awesome.
They have good CC, excellent Aggro dump, Pet can Offtank and the list goes on.

I agree you get good hunters but they are like diamonds frakin rare.
As for cc no they suck at it CD is too long and most dont spec survival.I prefer a frost mage for cc.
But it is a noob class my little sister 11 years old owns with her hunter in bg .

Flame away but its the truth.

So you would take Froxt Nova over Frost Trap? Because of CD.

That in itself is laughable.

Frost Nova lasts a few seconds so if you're busy killing something else your tank has about 5s for the group to kill the target and then get aggro on the Frost Nova'd mob.
Think carefully about that scenario and in and hour or so the correct answer should occur to you.
 
i have a shammy (awesome btw:) ), but not to have hunters in a raid, would be just wrong.
to pull some bosses with out a MD would be a lot harder to name one example. and yes u do get some awesome hunters out there and some ****ty ones, but that can also be said for any class.

Well have you seen frost nova is a aoe that does dmg too not just trap one trashy mob.You get places were aoe is a must with 30 trash mobs around you frost nova saved countless wipes.

Were a hunters trap is only usefull if you have 3 or 3 stronger elites.
And a good frost mage brings 10 times more to party than skilled hunter.
talking buffs water food dps.

And he can handle agro that why he got ice block after geting too much agro.O and dont forget sheep its even better than hunter trap.Only prob with sheep is it doesnt work on all and heals the mob.

Frosties are the kings of cc.

But dont warry too much the huntard forums is full of whiners you would probably get nother buff in next patch like in all patches.

Ok lets weigh up.

Frost Mage
Nova - 5s of Immobility where the mob can still Ranged/Cast.
Counter Spell
DPS
Small amount of Pet DPS
Arcane Intellect
Food/Water
Iceblock - Questionable Aggro Dump ?? min cooldown
Sheep. Complete Target Negation

Hunter
MD
Pet Tank
High Pet DPS
DPS
Frost Trap. Complete Target Negation
Ferocity if BM Spec
Feign Death. Excellent Aggro Dump. 30s cooldown

Polymorph is at least a good argument for a Frost Mage but Frost Nova and Iceblock are not.
A good Hunter is going to pull even less Aggro then a Mage.
His Pet allows him to basically remove 2 mobs from the pull as he can Frost Trap one and let his Pet offtank the other.

Food/Water is overrated. Players should keep their own supplies with them and shouldn't rely on the presence of a Mage.
 
Mages are by far the best CC class, Sheep have from day one been great. One problem though it only works on beasts and humanoids. Frost trap works on Humanoids, Beasts, Undead and Demons (just not elementals). If a Frost trap fail the hunter have a problem for a few seconds till he can get another trap up, Mage just resheep.

If you have to depend on frostnova for CC to save your but on multiple mobs I recomend learn to pull, you are failing somewhere else not in CC.
I fail to see why you see frost mages as best CC... All mages have the described CC abilities Cold snap could be the only extra advantage.
 
Lol, yet another player comparing Frost traps to sheep

(Lemme clear it up, Frost trap = We have to pull the mobs to us 2 CC them not to mention the 30sec cooldown, Sheep = Point and click)

Ive seen hunters with 2 glad epix and the rest greens, those are the noobs

Hunters: Dam easy to play, Hard 2 master
A skilled hunter can outperform a mage anyday of the week

What lvl is your char? What instances do you run?

Since your hating hunters so much, i'm assuming you havent seen a 70 hunter actually do its job properly.

Shogun, Iceblock has a 5min cod, but can be instantly refreshed with Cold Snap (Cold snap however has a 10min cd)

First i Never said i HATE hunters. I got 2 of em.
Second i still have to see a skilled hunter.
Thirde go watch some Frostmage AOE grinding movies then we talk about CC again.:D Then come back and tell be hunters are cc kings lol.

Hunters hard to master dont make me lol.
Maybe you should go and roll a frost mage see whats another clas like.Its not just send in pet pewpewpew dead.

I have a Deep Frost Mage, turned lvl 70 last night. In group quests and dungeons, I think we mages do better with crowd control and avoiding aggro is easy if the tank can tank and you have a threat meter handy :)
