That said, I really wish he was not running for next year - we need young(er) and energetic leaders to turn things around, or more forward. These old geysers were born in the rotary phone era... how are they going to deal with AI and the complexities of tech companies?

True, I should not generalise, but the US front runners are challenged in that regard. Look at Andrew Yang for instance, he had some really good policy ideas around tech and the jobs it displaces.

Trump and Biden are too old imho, especially if you make so many gaffes. Be a mentor to another candidate but let someone sub-65 go for it is all I'm saying.

In my career, I have reported to 65 plus year olds that have far more energy than myself at 35 years. Biden is a total disaster even as a puppet, and some 80 plus year olds that I know would agree.

Retirement age should be linked to mental acuity, not a broad-brush approach. I've seen many retirees that are far more capable than those much younger than them.
