Problem is , not all old age is slow. You can get rapid degeneration etc. Do you really want to run that gambit? Nothing wrong with them being advisors etc but I think the final decision making should not be in those hands.
 
I was thinking that his utterance might have been a code phrase understood by those in the know. Maybe to get ready for ww3, to assemble to the bunkers for those privileged enough. Then again, probably nothing more than inane rambling.

In fairness however, the Queen was monarch for so frikken long that most people alive have never known there to be a king. I mean the Queen had her coronation when Biden was 10 years old(Biden - 20 Nov 1942 -- Queens coronation - 2 June 1953), thats how long she was Queen for. So it was probably just a slip of the tongue.

80% of his appeal is because he is a 'Kennedy'. He's just another face to one of the myriad reasons 'democracy' in the US is failing. Legacy families, money, populism, media influence. These are all impediments to voting in the best people to run a country.

Many of his views are fringe and he is a well known antivaxer, 5g mind control proponents.

He has spasmodic dysphonia which unfortunately prevents him from being an effective orator.

You can't honestly tell me there aren't far better individuals in the US than him.
