Unfortunately that won't work as the thing only washes if someone is occupying the seat, there are sensors there. Newer models, even open the seat for you when you approach and close it. They can even flush the toilet for you but then you need a special flushing mechanism.
I think the best value ones are the Samsung's sold on Ebay. They're 240V and I think it's R1000 for FedEx with R7K for the item. Duties are 20% for toilet seats. VAT is 15% on 110% of the value.
That's about R11K including tax and shipping. Samsungs don't do instantaneous water heating though, which is what the more expensive models do, and have a tank, but that's not a big deal.
Otherwise one can import Totos from either Europe - very expensive or get from Thailand or Singapore, but you'll need a proxy service. My one was made in Malaysia.
Toto Japan also make 240V versions for tourists but then you'd need a proxy service for that.
American Totos are cheap, but 120V, as are Japanese models.
In SA I see Geberit is also selling German made ones (although probably made in China), with insta heating. In addition other companies also make these one can find cheaper models on Amazon UK. Panasonic, Hyundai, etc, make ones as well.
