I want a package for rugby only minus soccer, minus f1, minus tennis, minus all the repeats.

I want Kyknet.

the day I can cherry pick individual channels(IN HD) and pay accordingly is when I will get a dstv subscription again. otherwise the internet is just fine.

Biggest DSTV change for me was when I cancelled and got internet.

Never looked back or the same movie over and over again.

The packages are:

Premium --- Top of the line , all channels available
Extra ----- The next one down, fewer channels, limited sport
Compact --- Less channels, even less sport -- what u get is very Soccer focussed
Indian ---- An add on package but also stand alone
Family ---- Supposed to be focussed on education and some kids programs
Access ---- A sort of basic package
EasyView ---- The obligatory FTA MC must provide in terms of their licence, plus a whole lot of other "channels"

ExtraView is the system whereby MC allows 2 decoders to be connected together under one subscription -- basically the new "dual view" offering trying to make up for the loss of dual view capability on one decoder.

For those really interested, here are the links that explains it all ( when they work of course) . A the moment, the compare screens is blank, until you click on a Genre on the LHS (the links are clickable even though they do not look like it).

MC made a major stuffup with namings like Extra, ExtraView and EasyView. People are using the terms interchangeably. I wonder who's responsible for their marketing department.
