Big issues with Telkom roaming

I must say that at least from my side this issue has disappeared.
Tell us more. What problem were you having (2g no data, bad battery, always roaming?) and when did it resolve? (And where?)

I want to know as I still have lots of SIM cards with this 2g issue and although I've moved 80% to Vodacom, I've not moved them all yet :)
 
I'm in the situation where I'm not receiving calls any more on occasion, I just get a missed call notification. Dialer says they get a number not available when they call me yet my phone is on and I have signal.
 
I submitted an online request to cancel my contract. I received a call back from their cancellation department last week inquiring on the reasons for the cancellation. Informed her about the roaming issue and not being able to make or receive calls when on TelkomSA-R. She said she will forward it to their technical department to investigate and get a report.

I'm not sure if what they did since the call last week but since Monday this week my roaming problems are gone. I can now make and receive calls when connected to TelkomSA-R and the phone does not always want to connect to TelkomSA-R if there is only 1 bar on TelkomSA. Roaming seems to be working the way it should and only connecting to TelkomSA-R if there is no Telkom signal.

Still find that my 500mb all networks data is getting used at lot more, instead of the 10GB Telkom, compared to when roaming was still on MTN. But good to hear they are sorting some peoples issues out.
