Biggest Transfer Flops

I have agreed that he has had a dissapointing start, but thats all its been, a bad start.
I think weve discussed this to death so lets agree to disagree?:)

Ya, no worries man. I felt the same way about Henry last season.

I hope Keane helps Liverpool to win the league, he is a class player and hopefully its only a matter of time before he shows why Rafa has so much faith in him.

rofl that would mean Torres will flop this season? :P

Keane is working hard at being classed a flop at the end of the season.Pathetic performance by him again today.

Berbatov? what about Robhino? He's performance haven't been all that yet his attitude seems all that...

The biggest transfer flop, IMHO, has been Sean Dundee when he went from Kalsruher to Liverpool. He only played five games, scored zero goals and within a year he was back in Germany. A bit of journeyman between Germany and Austria, Dundee was last seen playing for Amazulu.

Liverpool's website cites Dundee as "possibly the worst player to to have ever don the red of Liverpool".

LOL. He's not even a regular at Amazulu.

Robinho I would say is the only big transfer who is actually paying off for the club, 12 goals (2nd in the EPLS top scorers) in the season and has been the reason they have won a few games.

Berbatov on the other hand was paid 30 million+ and has only produced 5 goals in the league. If you paying that much money for a striker you expect him to actually score goals.

I seriously don't think they signed him for his prowess in the 18-yard area but more as an inspiration to the youngsters in the squad.

He's 36 and has ballooned in weight, probably due to a diet of pies and coke. Deep down I feel sorry for the guy, he was duped by the Germans into dumping South Africa, now he walks down the streets of Durban and no-one knows him as opposed to Mark Fish whose a hero everywhere he goes in SA.

I sometimes don't feel sorry for him. He doesn't regret for choosing Germany over Bafana Bafana. I'm sure most of the ppl here would choose to play for Zim than Bafana Bafana. :)

**brixton_tower puts on his sarcastic voice**

But he was young and impressionable, and saw dollar signs when he was offered the possibility of playing for Germany. That dream came to naught and no we're stuck in South Africa with an overweight player whose barely a shadow of his former self(which wasn't good if your a Pool fan).

Keane is still on track for flop of the season:

Chelsea v Liverpool, probably biggest match for them this season but....
Robbie Keane is left out of the 18-man squad amid rumours at Anfield that he's on his way back to Tottenham, with Aaron Lennon coming the other way.

This may be the reason why Keane is a flop.....

It was put to Benitez his lack of faith in the striker is strange given he spent £20m on Keane. “The club. The club spend £20m,” Benitez shot back, reviving the complaint that led him to abandon contract talks: that he does not have control over transfers.

Poor guy never stood a chance.

Benitez is putting his big ego ahead of what's best for the club. But ag who knows maybe David Ngog will come off the bench and score the winning goal and Rafa will once again be hailed as a tactical genius.
