Bill Gates the richest again

Now that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation gives away money, maybe he gets a really hot tax break.
 
Yes, the richest man in the world, thanks to:

- Being the chairman of a monopoly
- Locking users in with Windoze
- Anti-competitive behaviour
 
With fagget tactics, no ethics, and an organization with a total lack of respect for ISO standards it's quite believable. But seriously doubt how long Microsoft will be flying supreme in the OS game still. Open source is taking leaps and strides in their effort to produce des ultimate OS, while Microsoft is throwing billions down the chute just trying to save thee vista. So my prediction stand 2012 opensource whould have over taken "The Bill"
 
Bunch of haters, i dont like the price, i dont like the monopoly but dont hate on the man. You would have done exactly the same if you where in his shoes. MS will forever rule the OS game purely because they can throw more money than anyone else in the world at any given problem they encounter period!

Throwing money at a problem is one thing. Cocking a snoot at ISO standards and making everything proprietary to stifle competition and opensource ways is what makes me hate M$. Their last OS, being XP was good and I was more than happy to pay for it because it was reliable.
 
I say congrats to the man. He worked hard for what he has and their giving 30 Billion to charity.

Who else can say they've done that?
 
He is a smart business man, I'll give him that. Have you seen him walking in those 2 advertisements with Seignfeld. All bent like an old man, doesn't look like he has been out doors a lot. :) Maybe time to bail out when Microsoft is on a losing streak with open source. Shame who is next GM? :rolleyes:

GM is indeed next- they're already in da troubles
 
His product might not be the most loved one around but you HAVE to give to him for being an absolutely brilliant businessman!

All the more reason to change to Ubuntu 8.04 . It installed perfectly . I did not have to do any settings. Connected via wifi. and its free !!
