Do you have neighbours? id love to sell them this theory!:D

I'm not in the habit of attacking my neighbours.
Some of us have learned to live in peace with those around us.
You should give it a shot sometime.

Usually when one side starts a war and loses both the war AND some territory, no one on the planet would expect the winner to give back anything!

The UN however does not see it this way. It's illegally occupied, like squatters with a huge wall.

The first book, or whoever is the strongest?
Either way if we basing the issue on religion then there should be no conflict because muslims believe that all the land on earth belongs to allah and the human pawns are just the custodians and everything that happens, has happened and will happen has been already determined by allah and that means that if israel is held by jews then that is the will of allah, so then the conflict on religious grounds should be null and void, so then why all the fighting?
Interesting perspective. Why do so many of the Middle eastern countries insist on the obliteration of Israel?

Most jews I know hate Israel so your post doesnt make sense to me.
I notice you and marine tend to zoom out of the topic every time. Why is that? Its Israel and Palestine not Jordan, Syria and the rest. Get a grip mate.
Most Jews I know support Israel. Wonder which Jews you are hanging out with?
Yes, there certainly is debate about the Government in Israel and about their policy. Parties there have to form coalitions to get into power as no single party is supported by the majority of Israelis. On the issue of apartheid see the AlJazeera link about Arab representatives in the Israeli government.

Have you seen the post in the OP?
Lots of green, little green, no green, thats called wiping them out?
You either ignorant or blindly biased. They always threatened to get rid of the Palestinians. They making their life as hard to bear as possible, its a slow process, but they winning.
I cannot understand why you would support them, so many are against them, even their own kind yet you persist that they innocent?
Who always threatened to get rid of Palestinians? Please provide sources for this statement.

Your neighbour should build a wall around 3/4 of your property and house a 1000l septic tank.
Live in peace after that lol.

I'd appreciate a reply to my post, Haldex. Your double standards and hypocrisy stand revealed, it seems.

You saying the same thing over and over, I'm not buying your agenda you need to more convincing than that.
Palestine exists, Gaza and the West Bank exist, it's not invisible, yet.

I've yet to see your stance against the settlements, my stance is for the existence of Israel but against the occupied land. If you as you say are against the same thing I'm against why are you having a defensive fanny wobble?

As for Hamas and Hezbollah and hummus and the Taliban and ninja ladies not allowed to drive etc etc etc, you zooming out of the topic again.

The land Israel is claiming is illegal, you seem to have an understanding of that, playing devils advocate are we?

You should try coming back to reality for a change every now and then.

"It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion, clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonialization, or Jewish State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their lands."
-- Ariel Sharon

"The past leaders of our movement left us a clear message to keep Eretz Israel from the Sea to the River Jordan for future generations, for the mass aliya (=Jewish immigration), and for the Jewish people, all of whom will be gathered into this country."
-- Former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir

“We have to kill all the Palestinians unless they are resigned to livehere as slaves.”
General Shlomo Lahat

“We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.”
Israel Koenig

"Israel should have exploited the repression of the demonstrations in China, when world attention focused on that country, to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the territories."
-- Benyamin Netanyahu

etc etc

Please provide a source for the statement you attribute to Ariel Sharon. It seems to have been said by a commentator - Yoram Bar Porath, in the Yediot Aahronot on 14 July 1972

As far as the other quotes you provide, please see http://www.zionism-israel.com/fake_zionist_quotes.htm

Fake Zionist Quotes - Another nonexistent Person - Heilbrun
http://www.camera.org/index.asp?x_context=2&x_outlet=83&x_article=775

Chairman Heilbrun of the Committee for the Re-election of General Shlomo Lahat, the mayor of Tel Aviv, October 1983 NEVER SAID:

We have to kill all the Palestinians unless they are resigned to live here as slaves.

"Heibrun" never uttered any "Zionist quotes" at all, or any other quotes - there was no such person.

Fake Zionist Quote - Israel Koenig
Commissioner Israel Koenig NEVER WROTE:

We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.

That and other fake "Zionist quotes" are supposedly in his controversial report on Israeli Arabs in Galilee.

Source given: Supposedly cited in Lustick, Ian, Arabs in the Jewish State, University of Texas Press, Texas, 1980.

Koenig didn't say it, and Lustick never wrote that he said it. This same fabricated Zionist quote is also attributed to David Ben Gurion in 1948."

You saying the same thing over and over, I'm not buying your agenda you need to more convincing than that.
Palestine exists, Gaza and the West Bank exist, it's not invisible, yet.

Which agenda would that be? One where I'm actually consistent in condemning terror and unjust behaviour, on both sides of this issue? Something which you seem incapable of doing.

I'm not sure how to show you that I disapprove of the expansion of settlements, other than by telling you...? Anyway, the difference seems to be that I'm also against terror attacks on Israeli civilians, and the multitude of human rights abuses by the various Arab governments, which you don't seem to care one dot about.

Haldex said:

No, it's very much on topic, just one that you seem intent on ignoring, because it exposes your hypocrisy. You have no problem with any of the Arab countries committing disgusting acts daily, but everything Israel does is bad.

You are correct - valid, but not said by Sharon.

Chairman Heilbrun-

The quote was traced to a 1988 book, The Hidden History of Zionism, by radical Marxist Ralph Schoenman. According to Schoenmanג€™s footnote, the Heilbrun quote was hearsay related to him in private conversations.

Israel Koenig - again I stand corrected. More research needed on my behalf.

Now do we have accurate translations from the original language calling for the destruction of all jews in Israel ?

And you think a source from a radical Marxist claiming something was said to him in private is going to be reliable when everyone knows the USSR went to great lengths to fund all the Arab nation in the M.E.

Daveza it is refreshing to be able to discuss the Middle East issues with you. As much as I support the state of Israel and it's right to exist, I believe in looking at the issues as objectively as I can. There will be individuals who make radical statements, however I honestly believe that it is not Israels' policy to get rid of all Palestinian and/or Arab people - This would go against the principle of a Jewish state.

I did a quick search, didn't find any substantiated references, although there seems to be some discussion about the translation of a statement by Iran's Ahmadinejad source
He was embroiled in controversy regarding statements he made supporting Holocaust denial and for commenting that "the occupying regime" would, according to various translations, be eliminated, or "vanish from the pages of time." The New York Times reported this as a call for the destruction of the State of Israel when the phrase was translated as "wiped off the map" by Ahmadinejad's official website and Iranian state run media.[157][158][159] However, American academic Juan Cole says the word "map" doesn't appear in the original Farsi quote. It has also been claimed that he said that "Israel's regime will be wiped off the map", not the actual state.[160] On April 21, 2012, Dan Meridor, Israel's Deputy Prime Minister, was reported by the Blaze[161] saying that President Ahmadinejad did not use the exact phrase ’Wiped off the Map’.

That's the one, almost the only one, that gets used here more often than a 5 Rand hooker - yet it has debatable validity.

Let's say I'm more anti the Israeli govt than I am pro-palestinian, but I just don't buy the Israel is innocent, palestinians are all guilty bs.

Certainly the Israeli govt are more than somewhat responsible for whatever negative sentiment comes their way.
