Billywindows Shutdown and WindowsUpdates

Anybody got the magic command which will force Server2016/2019/20xx to do a shutdown ASAP instead of faffing around with windowsupdates? I want to add this to a shutdown script in order to get Windows to safely shut down before the UPS runs out of juice and all that.

I have seen too many instances of Billywindows grinding along with Windowsupdates until the UPS runs out of juice... and chances are that you'll get a corrupted Windows install... not fun either.

Maybe try sconfig in powershell to disable updates.

A lot of us are pissed with Billywindows doing the updates thing when we just want it to shut down quick quick.

Without a UPS it's so stupid that you can't shut down your pc without being forced to update. I usually just put the pc to sleep. Powers up again after loadshedding in the same state. Probably not ideal for servers tho, dunno.

Now that I live in the land of no Load-shedding I rarely shut my PC down.
So naturally last night the kettle tripped the plug circuit and my PC got turned off.
