No beerBwana - great pics and you swallowed a beer too during the boringdom ?
Lovely! Maybe straighten slightly so the BG is horizontal - less sense of panic for OCDs
Ye I think it's something I need to be more aware of. I just focus on the target and forget the rest but I agree the level can throw some people off although post processing could sort that outLovely! Maybe straighten slightly so the BG is horizontal - less sense of panic for OCDs![]()
It is such a stunning base pic - with great focus on the main subject and stunning beak and eye detail. Post processing would be minimal. There are a number of really good freeware packages than can provide the tweaks if you don't already have good RPP software. Spent 1 minute with your pic - levelled it, tighter crop (loosely applied the "Rule of thirds", darkened the background a tad, touched colour a tiny bit. Not saying "my" PP is good though

I did however take a shot at some post processing on the image.. i think its a little better: http://i.imgur.com/Ig1oudf.jpg
Obviously made the BG is horizontal, played with the colors as the water seemed a bit greenish and then increased the contrast a bit
