Firstly, why does 8ta not notify you that your BIS is about to expire (like most networks does?). I have been struggling since early this morning to get 8ta BIS to go on, only to find out now that it expired! It would be nice to be notified that it will expire so that I could ensure I have enough prepaid loaded!
Secondly, a long time ago I left a message to the 8ta team and emailed them, asking to investigate my BIS that keeps dropping on the 8ta network. It will just go off (I think it is when it looses network connections). It was going to be investigated. No response. I called the call centre. It gets escalated. No response.
I am very seriously looking at moving. I liked 8ta as it gives me a strong 3G signal (vodacom does not have 3G at home, only GPRS). So might look in to getting MTN or Cell C.
