BitCo Consumer Review

From my limited understanding as per his explanation: Bulk of the towers have a standard configuration. Some towers need a different configuration. They use Dropbox for the settings. However for some towers the settings would not be the correct ones and he won't have it in drop box so it needs to be configured manually.

I think in my case I was smack inbetween 2 high sites. They prob had the setting for the one when they came, but got better reception from the other?

the reason with mine was they have added new configurations for rooihuiskraal and it wasnt applied yet. so they had to use the different confirmation.

Just used Hola and streamed Hulu.com. Watched a full episode of The 100 and not one second of buffering (2MB connection)

Did you get the Reese ad?
Whats better than one Reese peanut butter - two Reese peanut butter....

@garthvs how is the network quality for VoIP? I know bitco does VoIP but I don't want to change my provider.

Looking at the latency. When my Telkom line was running great, which was last year, I had better latency than that.

It all depends where you are geographically when latency is concerned with adsl, so those stats are very close to adsl and are very good IMHO.

I have 4mb adsl and these are my stats:

Mmmmm ran some downloads through the night on my 2mb, and although I'm fine with the policy that your speeds get halved temporarily when you use it excessively, this is not on http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3564514537 first time I get a speed test this slow after downloads, and its not even business hours. Normally when I download, it gets dropped to about 0.9-1mbs on a speed test, with regular browsing you don't even notice it, but with 0.3 mbs speed it becomes obviously noticeably, have to sit and wait for every page to load
