BitCo Consumer Review

Slightly off topic, but everything BitCo is in this thread, so I guess it's ok.

Does anyone have a picture of the installed antenna? The only pic in this thread has a bit of a bad angle.
I've contacted BitCo, got a quote, but I just want to check with the landlord before proceeding. :)

I'm curious; has anyone had an antenna installed in a more "satellite-dish-like" position (instead of the long mast)? Do they even do this?

Mine is also on a pole, about 3m long pole I think. Not sure.

Sorry to ask guys, what sort of international ping do you get?

On WoW I hover around 180. I can ping a few sites if you want tonight when I get home. I'm just stuck at the office with month end reports. Should be home around 20:00

That would be great! Could you ping bbc.co.uk and lesgueoflegends.eu for me?
I'd really appreciate it!

Don't stress, take your time, I'll only be checking tomorrow most likely ;) But thanks!

Lol, sorry just got home now...

Going to ping quick and post results

Watched netflix and some stuff on amazon prime from about 19:00 last night until about 23:00 and didn't experience any buffering.

Did you not have other devices like your phones and or pc's doing updates in the background or something?

(Edit - also on Unotelly).

Hi Elro

If you are using a Wifi AP can you please try using a cable instead. Can you also make sure all other devices are not using any data or possibly even try turning them off.

Completed the form this morning. Can't believe that I haven't heard of this service before. I currently pay Telkom and Mweb R650 for a 1.5mb line. My line is dead about once a month and it takes a couple of days to sort out.

So I'm pretty amped to give them the finger and funnel my funds to Bitco.

Please hurry and install!! :D

I have 6 days to cancel my Mweb and Telkom subscribtion...

Yep using cable, seems to have resolved itself this morning though.

And we are looking forward to having you onboard... :)

If you use your Telkom number we can also port this to BitCo.

I am not sure what Bitco has changed with regard to their international routing, but last night I had 175ms - 185ms to Battle.net.

I have never had such amazing pings to battle.net in the 5 years I've been playing Blizzard games. Keep up the good work guys.

I haven't experienced this since the night I got Bitco.
Can't Garth route international traffic back over this link?
I'm sitting at around 220-230ms on international now :) Not complaining, but it would be amazeballs!. :D
