Installation done.:):):)
They did a very neat job.
it was roughly a 3 hour installation.
I would like to thank the Bitco team and especially Richard for putting up with me:)

Finally! No-Rules, you ruuuuuuule!! :p Ahem...Pitbull, whatever happened? :(

Flip I'm itching to join the family. Just need a Peplink Balance 20 to combine BitCo with my fixed LTE connection.

I won't need the Linksys AP nor the Ubnt PoE injector though. As far as the RocketDish goes, more Ubnt to add to my stable of Ubnt.

Have to have that shroud (RF Armor Shield) though, just completes the look. :)

Garth,

I have a ticket open with support regarding lag spikes in wow where tcp & icmp are fine, but it almost seems like UDP is being shaped to hell and back. I haven't had any feedback from the support guys and today its just gotten worse. I'm now at around 380ms the moment I step into PVP games (this is when most of the UDP traffic picks up with tracking the other players and stuff).

Would you be able to follow this up with the support guys an its making things a tad unplayable at the moment.

I have 3 wired connections in my house, I noticed that if I connect them directly to the 8 port switch I don't get any link lights. Is this only because my installation has not been handed over yet or are we only able to use the 4 ports on the E900?

You're only allowed to use the 4 ports on the E900, I thought the same as you when my link was installed. You'll notice your link handed over when the E900 (Bitco Home) wireless has a passcode that you need to input.

Cool, thanks for that. Might need to get another small switch then for expansion.

Hi Guys

I have a thatch roof house so installing on that will obviously be a no no. In preparation for my site test, how is power supplied to the external dish? Is it pure PoE? If so, what is the maximum recommended length of the cable?

Ideally, if I can have it mounted on the perimeter wall instead of the house I'd prefer that.

Dude. Where do you stay? Nkandla?

I think it counts as a managed switch as part of your managed fixed wireless with BitCo. However, your question is still a good one.

I think it is probably necessary in order to join the network and do the routing required, but will be nice to get a detailed explanation from the Bitco team.
