do you have to use the switch with the router.

Yes, you need to use the switch. Without it you will have no service. The switch is fully managed and performs several functions.

No problem.
The other switch ports are disabled and reserved for future services such as IPTV etc...
We have 3 tower builds planned for the Vaal Triangle. I cannot say exactly where at the moment but I will update everyone closer to the time.
Any update on when and maybe where the towers will be, I really need other internet and am reluctantly considering other wisps?
