I honestly love input from opposing views. That first post of yours just seemed like an attack. I would have given it more thought if the tone was different though.
 
Hi Guys

We have finalised the pricing to move a Home Internet link. To move a link to a new location it is R 950.
Perhaps consider another option: Drop the re-connection fee and extend the contract for an additional year.
 
Got a ticket, but how to login to the ticket system? Is this possible as a prospective client?

Just got a tax invoice for R90.17 stating "Services started 28/05/2014" Firstly my internet is not working yet, and 2nd, say the services are up and running by the end of the day, can't you guys just debit the R699 every month the 28th?

Sounds like it's working give us feedback tonigh on th econnection and download speeds. That would be pro-rata from 28 - 31? Maybe?

Service would run from 01 - 30/31 of every month bill cycle

Well they said they'll phone once its up and running, no phone call yet, but I'll give you feedback tonight if its working:)

Correct. The link was handed over this morning and should work as soon as you either cable in or connect to the Wifi.

The amounts will be debited from your account at the end of the month... This is just a formal invoice that gets sent every month.

I hope they find LOS from the roof of the double storey (Hope it helps being a Double storey, just need to tell the guy to bring a bigger ladder) :D

Never have to deal with Telkom again, now there's a burden off my back:p They used a extension pole to get the dish higher than the house next to me(dunno if they do this with every installation, but if it weren't for that, LOS might have been a problem at my place), so unless you live next to a mountain or a triple story building, that might count in your favor:p
