I also had issues with my link last night where none of the websites were loading. Complaining about DNS lah lah. But this morning it was working.
 
Yep, actually the last couple of evenings it hasn't been great. Not sure if it is the weather or aliens or Zuma, but mostly unusable last night. Will probably be fine again tonight... Anyway, what can you do.
 
I did today, was damn slow.

I cannot remote back to my PC at home since this afternoon.
The network was back past 5, and it's off again at 18:40.

No ping response from my router.

What's up with BitCo today? :confused:
 
I'm not complaining about it, only wondering if anybody else on the 5Mb connection is also getting upload speeds of 1.5Mb. Been that way for a couple of weeks now.

Ha no I tested on my side and I got 0.9 something. My download also only went to about 4.4. But my connection has been stable over the last few weeks so that's good. Enjoy your extra upload speeds! :D
 
Damn. Also offline in Rustenburg... Hopefully it will be back soon.
Meanwhile I'm practicing my goal shooting offline in Rocket league :D
 
Had a weird thing the last few days where only Facebook pictures and videos load extremely slowly. I can't find any other sites where this is happening. Will log a ticket on Monday.

Same here, wife is also complaining to me about slow speed, told her i am not downloading anything, then checked myself and same issues. Some sites extremely slow and yep same issues on FB.

It was the same for the XBox Store images this weekend. Back at work today though so not sure what it's like today.
 
Around 00:00 till I went to bed at around 02:00 my line was also doing funny things. I suspected maybe storms or something somewhere. Will check when I get home. The quality of streaming was so crap I actually made an effort to sleep at 02:00 :o

The recent thunderstorms, while very welcomed after a serious drought, have brought with them severe lightning. Over the weekend (19 December), one of our sites were struck. We immediately dispatched a team to the site, however, as the storm persisted we could not risk human life and had to wait out the storm before repairs could commence. Services on this site were restored that same evening.

Last night, 21 December, at approximately 18h00 a separate site was also affected by lightning. Again a repair team was dispatched immediately and all services have been reported restored.

We thank you for your ongoing patience throughout this time. We assure you that we have ample resources available throughout this festive season should we experience similar occurrences.

We request please, that if troubles on your line continue, to please log a report of what you are experiencing with [email protected]. This forum is periodically monitored whereas our support desk is an official communication channel and allows us to better respond, report, log and escalate queries as necessary.

Hi Bitco,

Yea I have had no constant issues and I suspected it to be storm related from time to time. But it seems to be sorted pretty quickly on it's own so no need to complain. Keep up the great work.
