BitCo Consumer Review

Hi Bitco,

Yea I have had no constant issues and I suspected it to be storm related from time to time. But it seems to be sorted pretty quickly on it's own so no need to complain. Keep up the great work.

Second this, service has been exceptional. The issue I was having on my line with the weird speeds was resolved within 2 hours.

Unfortunately in the new year I am being forced to move service providers. The estate I am renting in has made a choice to move to fiber. I am not happy with this at all as it is more expensive than Bitco, and they seem very reluctant to give me an answer on streaming media. Also the caps are totally stupid. 20Mb line with a 20Gig cap... You can purchase extra data, so in my case I average between 200Gb and 300Gb a month. In total it will cost me R1900 a month. New service provider is MTN, which also makes me cringe.
 
OK was about to complain about recent slow speed, but that is cool about the storm damage, i mean not cool, but cool you are working on it and also for the rain... um sorry about your equipment though.

All in all still mostly happy, just wish the limiting to 2 MB could be changed. It really feels like we are paying R900pm with 2mb 99% of the time. It really does, but anyways, been a depressing day, so slow internet tonight is making me rant, so anyways...
 
Zero use on my mind all day and then @19:20 started downloading and 20 minutes later FUPed. WTF Bitco

Extending the support hours to 7 o'clock and then doing this to me at 20 minutes past seven feels like a slap in the face

I would log another support call but why bother since they have not come back to me on the two that are outstanding.

Even called them for two days in a row now and as usual I am promised that someone will come back to me, but to no avail.

Bridget says speak to Richard, Richard says speak to support, Support says and so on

Any update or news on the Facebook issue being slow to the point of not opening pictures anymore?

OCD, i hear you, feels like we are paying for a nice fast sport scar, but being pulled over for speeding every 30 minutes and then have to spend the next 4 hours in jail.

It seems to be worse this morning. I think we will probably only get an update on this next year when everyone's back to work.

Happy New Year to the fellow Bitco users and the the Bitco staff, im hoping this year is gonna be a belter hopefully the Zuma Virus disappears!!!:wtf:

Ive pick up a peculiar disturbance in the "force".......:whistle: there seems to be a reasonable amount of unstable ping and packet loss which im experiencing at the moment. The speed results are on target but the stability seems to be an issue.

The ping and jitter are all over the place.

Is there currently an issue and is there anybody else experience this?
 
What is up with Bitco lately? I am getting terrible speeds all over for the past few days. It has been rainy and cloudy, so did not bother me other evenings, but tonight it is clear and youtube is a crawl.

I am starting to get fed up with this. Wish i had damn land lines here, never had this much issue on 4MB telkcrap.
