Hi Guys,

I am starting this thread to keep everyone informed of the high site activation's for 2015

if you have previously been declined in one of these area's you can contact our Call Center and ask for them to reopen your request as we will have photos and a detailed report on file.

We have around 20 sites planned for wireless and about 40 Fibre nodes

The below sites have come online so far for 2015 and will add to the list as we activate more:

1: Lanseria Tower
2: Centurion - Highveld Technopark centurion
3: Boksburg - Witfield
4: Edenvale - Marlboro
5: Pretoria East - Faerie Glen
6: Waltervreden - Clear Water Mall
7: Edenvale - Liberty Gardens Tower

I just wanted to let you know we have activated a new high site in Weltervreden Park

This is a very Tall building found in the area known as - Clearwater Mall

Hi Mike, I'm not familiar with any tall buildings at / near Clearwater Mall. There is a tower there that I know of. Could you elaborate on where the site is?

I do not yet see this new site on the coverage map though. Guess that may take time to update?

This may be the site I have been waiting for!

Our coverage map takes about 48 hours to update so you should see it soon

you are correct, the tall tower in front of Clear Water Mall is one of the sites you can connect too

if you can see that clearly from your roof and you are within 5km line of sight.....its your lucky day

Thanks Mike, I'll climb on the roof over the weekend. I do suspect that trees will be in the fresnel zone though.

A question that I'm not sure has been asked before... If there is "better" LOS from a house wall / boundary wall than there is from the roof, would this be considered as a viable installation point?

I am wondering when will you have a high site in Hennops river area you can pm me for my location as we even struggle with vodacom in our area we get coverage but it disconnects every 1 to 2 hours .

Hi NovaDragon,

unfortunately we don't have any high sites planned for this area in the near future

Keep an eye on this thread as we post each time a new site is activated

My Neighbor got linked to that site on Monday. The installer mentioned that his signal is as good as it gets.
