Bitcoin Thread 2 Satoshi

lmfao, never change media, never change ...

... 9 hours later ...

Paid for a Hungry lion burger using a Redotpay virtual crypto card on my Apple watch. Really nice. The future is getting closer.
that's pretty cool, didn't even know of RedotPay

between that and locally Moneybadger's collabs with PnP and now Peach Payments slowly but surely you can buy most things with crypto

one thing that bugs me about solutions like RedotPay is the need to top-up a separate wallet just for the purpose of spending, I think I prefer my "main" wallet to be the thing that funds the spending without me having to worry about topping anything up

and of course we'll have Snyper soon remind us of the tax ramifications of spending crypto

lol, a > 10% instant drop based off a Trump tweet over night ... f-me there are times when I really start to think it's all just bullshyte

I guess at least anyone with significant leverage got completely rekt as they should

Did you see how much value the stock market lost due to Trump? Using your logic, the stock market is bs too.

it didn't lose any... it's gained during his presidency

day before his election = $62.2 trillion
yesterday = $66.4 trillion

S&P500 growth this year = 16%

No one actually lost that amount of money, it's all leveraged traders who I bet are running on 20x or 50x or even higher. So the figure they are throwing around is notional value..

At most it was $1bn, but more like $400m of actual money is gone

Due to significant market fluctuations over the past 16 hours and a substantial influx of users, some users have encountered issues with their transactions. I deeply apologize for this. If you have incurred losses attributable to Binance, please contact our customer service to register your case. We will review your account activity individually, analyze the situation, and provide compensation accordingly. However, losses resulting from market fluctuations and unrealized profits are not eligible for compensation.

The reason Binance is Binance is that we never shy away from problems. When we fall short, we take responsibility—there are no excuses or justifications. We are committed to serving every user to the best of our ability, and we will manage what we are responsible for.

The market remains volatile at present, so please be mindful of investment risks.

Oh, they didn't simply drop the ball; they dropped the soap. My balance(s) was shown as zero throughout this entire event. They did something. People are really mad at Binance; at least I wasn't as exposed as some others.

I won't be surprised to see them sued.

Lol. Btc newbs.

Just ignore the price and stack sats...

Oh my word, you sound like the cult followers of Max Keiser who think Bitcoin will usher in world peace and other such ridiculous notions.

I used to really respect Max, but he has gone off the deep end.

Edit: I see that I replied to an old post. My point still stands though.
