So what seems obvious (for a while now) is that btc bottoms out at around 5800-5900 and then seems wide scale belief enough shake out has occurred for some meaningful up trend. Whether true or not this perception is widely held and I think that's a good entry point for anyone as a self fulfilling prophecy seem inevitable.

As for altcoins, I think if you entered the 2017, early 2018 madness you better strap in for the long haul or sell now and take your losses. The few coins that will do anything significant will do them years from now it seems.

I don't mind this bear market lasting a while longer as it's great for accumulating more BTC. I now have about 5 times the BTC I had in December. If we only had a bull market I wouldn't know what to do. My main goal is to beat buy and hold which seems to be working.

I'm sure it will last a short while longer, but the energy does seem to dissipating. And holding all the bitcoin in the world won't mean a thing if it's worthless.

Though we not dropping and instead are edging closer to that mountain. Seems like people are tired of selling. So when he/she removes that sell order in a few minutes we should go up a little.

I've been selling and buying during the bear trend, made over 20% of what I have that way. Problem is if someone gets in on a high the price drops 10% and they aren't patient to wait it out.

If you zoom out from the BTC graph for the last 5 months there seems to be a repeating pattern. Two peaks then down over and over. Peaks getting smaller each time.

My twin peak theory says we should touch $7.5k again before going below $6k.

Don't agree with this at all, Alt season is closer than you think. They are traded in BTC for the most part so you have to look at their BTC traded charts. When BTC goes on a run again they will all seem like they're on a run but most of them are already near the bottom. If you've already waited it out from the ATH to now you'll be crazy to sell now in my opinion.

I agree you'd be stupid to sell anything that's down from where you bought. I invested money I could afford to lose so I'd rather gamble it may go to nothing than on purpose take a loss. I hope you're right about alts because I have a bunch.

the pianist in the bitcoin saloon stops playing. Everybody turns around and sees thor back from the dead standing in the saloon entrance. the barman drops a glass, biometrics has his hand over his pistol, SynergyX hides his many children behind him, sayanZ stumbles out the room with his shirt unbuttoned still with the prozzie in tow to see if its really true....
