I've been waiting and watching for this dump for several days to sell and rebuy for lower. Just my luck it happened during the 15 minute meeting I had with my manager. So missed out on a couple %.

At least the Rand is depreciating vs the Dollar so the knock in Rands isn't too much.

Didn't have a buy order in place?

I'm holding throughout the madness and aim to sell when it dumps and then rebuy for lower to keep accumulating more BTC. This way I don't miss out on the mini bull runs but am exposed to the dumps. Only saw the dump when I got back from the meeting. The price was already R85k on Luno by then so too late to sell.

I've been reading about bullish/bearish divergence. It seems to be a decent predictor on whether we will go up or down.

Right now we have bullish divergence which indicates that we will go up soon from here. That's the two longer lines on the chart. RSI has a lower low but BTC price has a higher low.

The bearish divergence was the two shorter lines which indicates that we go down. RSI has lower highs but BTC price has higher highs.

I've got no clue at all. That's why I only follow the forum day in and day out.

That's the most education I can get for now.

Bitfinex low fees and BTC liquidity/volatility is starting to look appealing. Think I will move my BTC there at some point. I'm getting tired of the lack of price movement on Luno these days.

https://www.bitfinex.com/fees

The max maker fee on Bitfinex is 0.1% which at $7000 is only $7 and I should be able to get into a lower fee bracket. So it is almost free which will make small trades worth doing. Whilst Luno maker fee is 0%, the price hardly moves.

I wish Luno would implement some changes (charts, limit orders etc) to attract and keep traders there to increase liquidity. They've got a huge advantage and are well placed but seem to be sleeping a bit.

And you get stop losses which is beyond Luno's laziness for some reason, can short as well. If you trust USDT you can also use Binance with BNB, fees are 0.05% for maker or taker. I use Binance for Bitcoin Trades and Bitfinex for USD trades although I haven't traded much lately.

And if that made anyone wanna sign up to Binance, here's a referral link for you lol
https://www.binance.com/?ref=12389832

They show you the top 3 earners through referral commission and the number 1 guy has earned 175 btc :wtf:

i dont think the sa market is liquid enough for this.

it would be driven by bots which is kinda pointless

Just noticed that short positions are through the roof now whilst we have been going mostly sideways. Up 30% in the last week and the graph has gone parabolic. So I guess that the $7.2k region is loaded with stop losses.

Will the price now drop like people expect or do we have the biggest short squeeze in history?

Yes , I just saw that. It went absolutely insane there for a few moments. Care to explain what that was about ?
