8.5k is my new target. If it gets there quickly it will likely end up at ~7.5k but I doubt it will go all the way to 5k.

I was a skeptic regarding all these 2014 vs 2018 comparisons until this last spike up of 15% out of seemingly nowhere. Thought they just looked similar before because all downtrends will have some similarity. Looking at it more carefully, the ratios of the peaks and bottoms are very similar. Resistances and sideways movement vs previous peaks/troughs also seem to follow the same pattern.
 
Where did you guys get training on exchange trading? Online courses?
Atm I just buy and sell on Luno through the quick method. Hold when drop sell when up and buy when low again
 
As a novice I look at you okes with all these graphs and stop loss things and go ok....that must be interesting.
Or are you folks making multiple smaller gains the whole day like a daytrader would

What you're doing is a similar strategy employed by others, amongst other things obviously.

There's a ton of good, free information about trading online as you are aware...

Just follow PhilakoneCrypto on Twitter, guy is absolutely insane, been following him for months and most of his predictions are scarily accurate. He has a ton of training material as well and everything is completely free. There's a few other TA's I think are good as well but no point overloading yourself with info upfront.

Also when you say quick method I hope you don't mean instant buy and sell, always use the luno exchange when you're doing trades. Happy to chat if you want more info about these things.
 
Some are day trading like you mention, making small % profits along the way (which add up), and some hold for longer and sell when price up...

Why not instant buy and sell
 
Rather trade without fees (learn the difference between market maker and taker) etc...

Luno charges a premium for that, fees are usually like 2%. Think their reasoning is that they are guaranteeing a price for you for like 30s and market can move against them or some nonsense like that (I could be wrong though). On the exchange if you learn about the 'maker/taker fee structure' you can get 0% fees if you're a maker

Thing is I dont kniw how the exchanfe on Luno works. I feel compfy with the instant option. I still make something although less with the fees.

Ive noticed that when I sell its more or less R1500 less than the actual price
