Thanks, I've already ordered on the 6th, says it was shipped on the 7th so still a while before I start wondering but I'm planning on loading up on Alts with this BTC dip coming up now and wanted to store them on the ledger

So why does Luno suggest to go with instant buy and sell if your 30 day trading volume is less than 10 bitcoin?

Interesting to note that this current mini pump is exactly 24 hours since the last one. The last mini dump was also exactly in the middle after 12 hours. So dump again at 9pm tonight?

because they're dicks. They'll probably reason it out as newer traders won't know how to use the exchange, cool, but why don't they make it explicit at any point that you will be paying at least twice the fees with the instant method - that's enough to make anyone want to learn the exchange way especially when there is a chance of zero fees and the exchange isn't even complicated at all.

Now that you say that...do they charge you if you stop an order on the exchange?

Never mind - I see it - its every 12 hours at just about 7:00 or 19:00 UTC for the last three spikes. So next spike down at 9PM SAST. I wonder if the person/bot doing it will be punctual.

So for weekend another slam into the 8.4k resistance back to sub 8k before pushing to 9k over the next week or so? Or are we just going to fomo through the resistance to 9k?

I wouldn't mind a big dip do that I can get in for cheaper again. It's currently in no-mans-land again like when it was going sideways at $6.8k. Hard to tell what's going to happen.

I missed out on most of the run up from R84k as I got caught with the quick dip from $6.8k to $6.6k early last week and sold but the price just kept going up afterwards until it took off. I'm just making small trades whilst always taking profit and going back into cash. Will go back into full holding position once I can buy as much BTC as I had before this run which is currently at around R90k. This will keep increasing as I make more profitable trades.

Long but very interesting read about Ethereum's co-founder (Google the title of the article to get around the pay-wall).

Bio might like these paragraphs :D

As we talk, cryptocurrency is having something of a cultural shift. The idealistic early coders, who wanted blockchain to transfer power from corporations and governments to individuals, last year started getting overtaken by get-rich-quick schemers. Some ICOs were scams. Buterin watched in dismay as his blockchain was flooded by mercenaries making a fast buck.

“There’s projects that never had a soul, that are just like, ra-ra, price go up,” he flaps his long hands, “Lambo[rghini], vrromm, buybuybuy now!” Then he blurts out a critique of the digital token, Tron, breaking the tension by laughing uproariously. Tron’s market valuation hit $17bn without any discernible product.

The outlandish valuations are, he says, “far ahead of what this space has actually accomplished for the world”.

I'm thinking we're going to see that 90k soon(next few days) so don't panic, but, it will be the last time we'll be seeing that price, we'll be sitting 100k+ from then on... unless of course we just have a fomo run without the dip /shrug

Will play it safe and not FOMO unless the price really skyrockets and there is time to get in and out again. This slow upwards creeping of the price that we've had for the last 48 hours is going to come to a conclusion soon. Somethings got to give.

I really hope noone sold after reading that, green pretty much everywhere. Damn I got in quite a bit but was waiting for a slightly further BTC dip before pumping in some of my reserves. Also was waiting to get my ledger first before loading up, hopefully it gets here in the next week. Give me one more dip before moon please BTC.

I think we've cleared the big trendline going down. By my EW count I'm expecting us to go up to around $8400 then retrace a bit to around $7800 then run into the Big trendline on the log scale possibly

Look at the daily, call wasn't too bad there I'd say

People have been selling for a couple hours but the price is holding at $8.5k. RSI is reaching oversold area. Best guess is that it will go up from here shortly.
