Some proper panic in the market today. I decided to hedge with a small short after this dump below $8k as if it does drop to $6k I can profit from the short and use it to save my longs. If it goes up to $9k I can just profit from longs and start adding to the short. Will add to longs again at $7450 and close short if it gets there.

Have to plan for worst case scenarios now to avoid getting rekt in a week.

With all due respect... I've been following this thread for ages and not once before big change has anyone seen it coming....

With this 'manipulation' = uncertainty, how can this become a viable "trading currency"?

Just find it so difficult to hold......dl..

Not all of us posting here jumps on this forum the moment things turn. I can assure you that the directional dump/pumps even at times unpredictable have not made me shed one tear. :)

You can never know what is going to happen for sure but can manage your risk so that whatever happens you still come out in profit at the end. Nobody knows if BTC is going to go to $1k or $100k but we can trade it in the meantime for profits.

naysayers always seem to get hold of bitcoin threads when the price crash but the moment it pumps back up and beyond every one of them(you) seem to go quiet.

I agree. I'm lurking here to get some insight from the local crowd.

I have been waiting for the inevitable dump so I can buy more BTC and some alts .If can drop back to between $5000/$6000 will be stoked .Not because I am negative on Crypto.. I believe by 2022 we will be vindicated... (Moonshot)

I personally don't hold. I trade. Much more profitable - if you have a little time to trade, naturally.

As far as this thread goes, you should definitely be looking elsewhere. I follow a few traders on twitter who have been very accurate.

Constantly relying on others for tips will eventually get oneself in trouble. Best to learn from others and then use your own judgement. Usually what people tweet/post is just the tip of the iceberg of the understanding and the market is constantly changing so analysis from a day ago is usually obsolete if regularly trading. People also cannot convert every thought/scenario into a post/tweet.

I've seen people on Tradingview who were right for months last year and then they just disappeared after getting it constantly wrong for a while. This year there's a whole new bunch of pros of Tradingview. There's no point in going there too once you know the basics.

You can also join a Discord channel like CryptoHippo. Guys with a wide range if skills, and everybody is learning. Great support group as well.

But you got to find your own strategy, and learn what you can wherever you can. Dont trade on others "tips".

99.99% of discussion here is theory. No one here have to my knowledge made any hard suggestions as to "BUY" now or "SELL" now. If you think the comments here is suggestions on when to buy or sell then you missed the point of this thread.

Everyone and their cousin is very accurate on twitter until they are not. That is the nature of trading and during the recent mostly bull market timeframes it is much harder to be wrong than right. With the current possible bear market trend change lets see how accurate all these seers are now.

ps. just stating price will go down between a wide range or go up between a wide range is not a prediction.

That's the problem with hodlers. Everyone hopes this is the time where it dumps so they can make 100x in a few years. Then in a few years' time everyone hopes this is the time where it dumps so they can make 100x in a few years. LOL
