Hey, I started playing BDO in January this year and had been heavily engaged with the EU PvP community as I was part of a tier 1 node war guild and eventually an alliance leader when we decided to form one. I am curious if anyone here plays BDO on EU. I know if you play it from Steam, it funnels you into the MENA servers, which I did at the start and absolutely hated.
So it may be unlikely that any of you would be on EU, but let me know if you are. I ended up taking a break for a couple of months after doing node wars for 9 months straight. It became quite a burden to have to plan, do diplo and organize 25 people every day for such a long period of time, but I really love the game and the community. It would be awesome to have some SA players around too, even if you aren't into PvP at all.
And if you haven't ever tried the game out and might be on the fence, the game is definitely worth trying out right now. They have been adding tons of content this last year with seasons that help get you geared up a little bit and give you a bunch of nice stuff for completing certain tasks in that season. I haven't spent anything other than what I paid for when I bought the base game, and it's an easy game to pick up and chill out in because there is no pressure to raid or do some crazy high-end content. You simply do what you enjoy, at your own pace.
