Black Ops 3

There were memory leaks, but I think it was fixed with that small patch yesterday.

All in all I like the game. A lot. :) I see some people have presitged already.... wtf.

Noticed it ran better last night.

Still need to see if my pc can handle extra ,only playing on high atm. Getting around 80 fps at 1440p in MP and 60 in SP .
 
I got about 80 fps on mp, but my hit reg went for a ball of crap. Limited it to 60 and it's much better.
 
FFS this game has me pulling my hair out .... I get regular game freezes, I have to end task BlackOps3.exe and then restart... none of the bloody fixes work for me. The game played flawlessly on release day until they did the first update.

My PC SPecs are;

i7 2600k (no OC)
8gb 1600mhz Ram
R9 390X GPU
Asus Xonar Xense Sound Card
480gb Radeon SSD
2560 X 1440 28" IPS Monitor

My Ram sits at about 7gb usage in game, My GPU hits 100% usage even in the menu?

Wow... Don't know how to help you dude. Did you check for latest drivers for your GPU? I don't have these issues...
 
Anyone having issues with the MP pairing out of the few games I've played this morning only 1 was with other Saffers, I keep finding games overseas...
 
Had one or two of those yesterday, but only if the SA games are full or unavailable. If it takes more than 10 - 15 seconds to find a game, cancel and search again. It looks locally first, then if it can't find a server it starts looking internationally. Unfortunately you cannot cap the ping it searches for, otherwise that would have stopped this from happening.

You need 15.11 drivers ,game only work with those drivers. I had 15.9 could not play at all.

Game uses about 4.8gb ram on my system with 16gb ram win 10.

Try the driver suggestion, then I'd start buy turning everything to low. Slowly up them 1 by 1 until you get the issue again.
 
I had the driver installed before I even loaded BO3. But any way it seems I have isolated the issue. I run two monitors, my primary for gaming which is the 28" 2560 X 1440 and a secondary 24 " 1920 X 1080 which has my TS and all my performance measuring tools (GPU, Ram & CPU info). I noticed yesterday as the freeze happens, the secondary monitor very briefly flicks on and off, so that got me thinking its actually losing it signal from the GPU. So I decided to disable the secondary monitor and low & behold, no more freezing.... I cranked up my settings for BO3, set max FPS at 100 and disabled V Sync.... running naaaais now!

Now this actually happened to me before on one of the older COD releases, exact same thing, but it was so long ago I had forgotten about it ..... Eventually the older COD had enough updates that they sorted it out, probably be a while till they sort out BO3.

I have to say though its definitely one of their better releases for multiplayer game play. Really enjoy the feel and accuracy of the game. Such a good mix of maps, physics and action. Pity that the COD player base has diminished in Z.A so much.

I'm thinking of taking up BO3 since I played MW3 on the Playstation. Just not sure if I want to play it on the PC though :o bleh... I'll see. It worth it though? You guys enjoying it thus far?
 
Yeah Pitbull - it's a flash back at previous (successful) COD's. Worth it in my opinion.

Bleh fark it. Will get it for the PC.

Hope the numbers increase in the next few days/weeks so one can get more SA hosted games. I read it seems to be an issue atm.

Have to agree with Slaught3r, its a mix of MW & BO all wrapped in one. The after map line up is a bit cheesy with its one liners, but running on walls and the double / triple / quadruple tap jumps are so much fun. But be warned, there is a "last stand perk" :sick:

The graphics for me are really smooth, I have not had any lag at all, which is a miracle for the first week of release. The player and classes are very configurable, more than any of the last CoD's. 10 Slots becomes very limiting with all the perks... Also it seems they have their own cheat anti system for this version. Will have see how that pans out, always will be some d o o s who will try hack at some time or the other...

Yea MW3 also had a Last Stand Perk. "Down but not out" :D

Sounds awesome, will give it a pop. I'll check if BTgames have any in store today. How big is the first day patch?

Edit: Geesus, R 700 for PC? :D
My wife is going to be sooooo pissed.
