nah, i will be prestiging until i reach the highest. The only other Cod game i maxxed out on was COD4 and i was nearly there with BO2 but BO3 came out lol!

Im still loving it! i recently found that HC DOM earns you more XP than TDM so i was playing that most of the weekend went from 30 to 55 which for me is not bad at all!
 
I haven't enjoyed CoD since MW2 (or actually WaW), but i must admit BO3 is really fun. I am still battling with the whole gummi bear bouncing around and learning to either shoot at some1 in the sky or shoot while jumping. But slowly getting there.

I jus really hope HC Dom stays popular, I HATE TDM and wish the mode never existed. As long as HC Dom is around, ill probably be playing.

i love playing tdm but i think i will be playing more DOM due to the fact u get a ton of xp on it... for example this weekend with dbl xp i leveled 4 levels (50 to 54) in one game... was quite happy about that! :)

I never understood this mentality, is COD only about ranking up and prestiging?

No, just gives a little purpose to all the mindless killing.

Thing for me is its a FPS combat based game, so there should be objectives like capturing points, SnD and so on. TDM for me is just mind numbing boring. TDM is what killed my previous CoD games...

I wish we could play more HC Mosh Pit, but it seems due to the limited tunnel vision nature of the CoD SA community, this will never change...

Oh and is it just me or does the graphics in this game seem a little grainy? I have everything basically on high and i cant seem to improve that look. Any suggestions for general tweaks?
 
TDM is boring as hell. Only way to get any kick out of CoD is FFA. I loved smashing people in that back in BlOps 1.

Not sure what you're getting at here - prestige and ranking up is a personal choice, not what the game is about at all. People (including some close friends) see it as a personal challenge - it doesn't give you any additional weapons or anything, maybe a bit of bling here and there, but that's about it.

But, if you are going to sit and play this for 300-400 hours, then you might as well do it. I am in it for the DGL league.

As a CS player I have my reasons for playing CS, COD players have their reasons.

Well CS has its own achievement system if you have a look. So its nothing new really.

I just realized that the wall runs and double jumps remind of Q3/UT days.
 
I played HC Domination for the first time yesterday, its quite fun tbh... couldnt find a HC TDM match with local players.... I wish more would buy this CoD and play. Its really great... I have not notice any hackers yet. What a pleasure.
 
Bleh TDM....

Although i see some of the latest trends in DOM is ppl foregoing the objectives and trying to rack up kills. Couple of the guys i played with/against were exceptional players and got some serious scores, but all meant nothing when u loose...
 
Has anyone here been experiencing any matchmaking issues? I've tried playing with Afrihost and WebAfrica (and NAT type says open), but it takes ages to find a game (whether it's TDM, domination, CTF, normal or hardcore - pretty much any combination). My success rate at this point is close to 10% when searching for any games.

The comments here seem to indicate that you guys are playing regularly, so I find it really odd that it's giving my friends and I so many issues.
 
Search for a game, if you don't find one within 10 - 15 seconds, quit the lobby and search again - rinse and repeat until you get one. Could be that there are games, but they are full. Other than that, I would suggest you check your friends list and join on one of them when there is a spot.

EDIT: I hope you weren't searching at 5:30AM, because nobody in their right mind plays games at that time... :p
 
So we played a clannie last night - mid-game people start randomly disconnecting. When they try and get back in there is a 30mb patch. Everyone quits and gets the patch and reconnects. FPS is shot to hell. Maxing at about 70/80. Play a full map like that then everyone starts randomly disconnecting again. Low and behold another 30mb patch - I suppose to fix the fps bug because after that it was smooth sailing.

Don't know why they don't test these things before implementing it... seriously.
 
What do you guys think about the Awakening DLC maps? I can hardly get into any games now since only DLC owners are matched together. ;( Anway, I really like the new maps; they fun and unique. I do wish we could interact with the maps more though .
 
I have not played on my PC for about a month now .... got tired of searching for games, and my other hobbies are keeping me busy.
