Played another game in SC where the other team was made up of guys with clan tag [PO*S] and it seems they were out to annoy people by camping (3 or 4 guys camping one section of the map) with sniper rifles. They were pretty *** though so enjoyed shooting them because you knew exactly where they were. Got s sniper kill for the killcam and one of them shouted Gay Noob Fag and I just lolled because it was all they were doing.

I can agree with that :)

Yea I've into those guys as well. The camp spots are becoming more apparent now on the larger maps. However if you know where to expect them, you can easily flank and enjoy a kill.

I wish there are more SnD games. Don't think I've ever found a server for that :(
 
I really have lost my skill from skipping 2 years of bad CoD. There a couple of players that just annihilated me,. Some (DoW) clan members, a guy running with La 'Elite tags (or something like that) and a Kruger one I think... Jeepers, they ate me up and shat me out like a noob.

Had those DoW guys on a server last night. 4 of them. Thing is they run together so always get pwned.

FreddyKruger just loves his smg's

I've abused the Vesper enough. Now maxing other guns. Does make it more challenging though...

awww man Freddy is crazy good that it seems dodgy sometimes but what annoys me about him and most of the good players out there, is when you doing well and they not having a good map how they rip you by saying camper etc! other than that I'm loving the AN-44 but use the Sheiva way more. Love the sound of that gun and its got quite good power! love it!

In BO2 i found myself to be quite a SMG player but this one i prefer the assault rifles better.

Recently being playing a lot with the KUDA, else I like the HVK-30.
 
I'm assuming you guys are talking about the PC version? What's the server population like coz I don't want to spend huge moneys then find the game is dead in 3 months? I used to be a big black ops 1 fan and am thinking of picking up a new CoD.

TDM and Domination you will always find games.

The other modes I've never found games on - like Search and Destroy or Uplink. Guess I'll try and find some overseas games for those.

Uptake has not been as big as previous CoD titles, but I think too many people are weary of the previous 2 Shyte games in the CoD lineage. I would hope that word spreads fast that this is actually a decent CoD and that the numbers increase. But with that said, some times you go instantly into a game, other times you have to search a bit longer...
 
In general I have not struggled to find games, I usually insta-join a lobby.

I am with Fook on this one - the game is solid. The maps are balanced (not sure about the SND yet - still need to check it out), there are a number of good choke points and the hit boxes are spot on. Hit registration is perfect and people don't tank as much as in previous COD's. This may be the one we were waiting for, but because of past stuff ups people are hesitant to buy the game. R800 is a lot of money if you are unsure whether you will be playing it for more than 20/30 hours (which is what I did on AW).

Don't think this is a waste of money, unless the uptake doesn't happen, in which case the game may die before it gets a chance to shine.
 
Agreed.

Treyarch has already released countless hot fixes and even a balance patch - all within the first 7 days of the games release. They are doing a great job on this one.
 
Even playing on an international with a 200 ping is possible. Had lots of good games already where I finished first on the European servers. What I have noticed though with this CoD, and this is a first, the South African servers hosts quote a few international guys, hell even some Ausies a few times. So we can play with 40 pings and they play with higher pings :D

Any weapon can be effective. In SC you know that if you run into someone packing a shotgun or SMG around a corner while you have an assault rifle you will be mince meat. However if you encounter that same combination on a medium to long range stretch the assault rifle wins out.

I only play HC to level my weapons. HC requires less skill in my opinion.

I do wish you could disable the mini-map in SC though. I like the fact you have to launch a UAV to give you map coverage in HC. That makes sense.

Yeah its a different game, it takes a lot less bullets to kill someone. As a result you need a lot more map knowledge. If you run into an enemy and he's already aiming down the sight while you're still sprinting, then you're dead.

In normal you need a lot better follow-up aim to keep spraying the target. But because you also lose the crosshair in HC you need a lot more luck if you're not aiming down the sight.

Either way its more variety.
 
So I've been scanning local web forums / gaming sites.... Not much about BO3. One article / review on Mweb GameZone by Holden ZA, but thats about it... Got me thinking. I know why :D Because we too busy playing the most Epic CoD in the last 4 years to waste any time writing shyte about it :)

Closing thoughts

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been the multiplayer experience that I have enjoyed the most since the release of Black Ops 2. The gameplay is fast paced but not overwhelmingly so. You have to think more often when you decide to use your boost and it isn't just the get out of jail free card it was in Advanced Warfare. The specialists are a great introduction, but I feel it still needs some tinkering with certain classes. It will be interesting to see if Treyarch introduces more classes in the future as DLC or unlocks via the new Cryptokey system.

Overall I am currently happy with the multiplayer, that is fast paced, varied and colourful - both visually and by game-to-game variance.

Hahaha this is true!!! Just hit level 53 last night! Going to prestige as soon as I hit 55 I used to wait a while and play a bit but I want to prestige as fast as I can
