BlackBerry internet service downtime explained

Many BlackBerry users experienced problems with their data services on Friday, caused by interface issues between RIM and Vodacom

Well since MTN's BIS was never down, i doubt this is a RIM issue, but a Vodacom issue.

I take it vodacom are covering themselves once again...

I think data services were also effected earlier?

Data services WERE affected across the board according to their 082155 but the geneal data services were up and running by 8.30am with BB only going live at about 12.30pm.

It's Vodacom, Vodacom Business ADSL went down earlier this morning and I guess this caused the Blackberry network failure as well.

i waited about 4 days for my BB activation 3 months ago! GL!!
