BlackBerry Messenger for iOS, Android delayed

Looks like they must have fired their PR guy too. They don't have enough capacity to handle the network load to begin with and then they blame their clients. Smooth Blackberry.

iOS had the official app so it must be a capacity problem on blackberry side. Pi$$ poor if you ask me. Didn't they anticipate demand. But that's how rim's been run in the last decade so shouldn't be a surprise really.

Next thing they'll start cutting off the top 3% of their users as well...

With WhatsApp and Telegram I really do not see the point of BBM anymore. I am trying to get my friend in the UK to switch from Hangouts to WhatsApp, but he is 52 and stubborn like a donkey when it comes to tech change. He was a BB user for like a century or something and his brand new S4 that he got on his last upgrade with Vodafone been lying sealed in his drawer for the last year and half or something while he continued using his BB Bold. He only got the courage to switch about 3 months ago. Ai ai ai.

You have the option to block invites from the BBM channel. That's what I did...

Did this block the ads? Also the ads for Zoosk (and others) that pop up in the FEEDS list? (don't have a screenshot of that).

Anyway, BBM is too little too late. Won't reinstall it.
