BlackBerry specials from Vodacom, MTN

hmm, I dunno. The RBM deals still seem more attractive. (Though I am waiting for the CPA to kick in before I sign away my life again ;) )
 
GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY...I remember i had to pay in R1000 to get the 9700 on my talk500 :twisted: and now its free on a top up 200? :wtf:?
 
MTN and Vodacom clearing stock. New Bold on the way and the Curve 9300 to take over the 8520 position.
 
Heard that 8ta will be supporting BB by end of the Q1, hoping that 8ta will have some good deals soon.
 
Let us not be fooled. I doubt that people are after the devices; they are after the BIS. I might be generalising, but then I have three family members that decided against Android devices and Nokia because they wanted the internet access offered by BB. They are very frequently on Facebook and Mixit. It says a lot of how the price on internet access in SA kills the growth in that market.

The very large majority of the people I know who have Blackberries (and I know a lot) wanted theirs for Blackberry Messenger.
 
Coincidence that they offer fairly similar specials simultaneously?

Vodacom currently have no stock on the 9700 they are waiting for a shipment. So it cannot be clearing stock.

Half the people I spoke to really just love the way the Blackberry works. Where do people get this people only buy Blackberries for BIS crap? Most of the people don't even know about it.
 
Most BB user's enjoy their experience due to the offerings of BIS. a BB without BIS is pretty ****ty and very limited...
 
Ok...just did a little calculation.

MTN anytime 100 normal price is R100.00 per month. Let's say their BIS is also R59 per month like vodacom.

Now with this deal u paying R279 per month? So that works out to 2880 extra over 24 months? Sounds kinda sucky compared to the vodacom deal don't it?
