So you switch to speaker phone and while you are talking to them just press the camera shutter button and up comes the camera. You take the shot, and get this, when you select the Send option that normally brings up the phonebook - it does not do that, it just says "picture sent to John Doe" or whom ever it is you are having the conversation with.
Jules : They don't bring up the contact list when you select send?
Vincent : Nah, man, they got the intelligent system, they know the only reason you would go through all the trouble of taking a picture while having a conversation and then hitting send would be to send it to the person you are talking to.
Jules : "Royale with Cheese".

So you like Pulp Fiction and you've never used a Blackberry?
 
Lets put it this way, I read reviews of many phones on many sites. That is what reviews are for, to give you glimps at something so you can make up your mind about it. I am very excited about what is happening on the Android side of things and also keen to see how windows phone 7 pans out. Apple and Blackberry however are far to limited in what they offer and to obscure. Plus the UIs really don't look very nice - except for the iPhone, but that is pretty much all it does.

So in short - I fully understand why this study found people jumping from BlackBerry to Android or something else. Remember, the whole idea with reviews is so that you don't actually have to spend money on something to experience it and make up your mind about it.

As for the little differences - can a blackberry or iPhone did what I described in my previous post?
 
IRL always differs from simply reading about it, especially when what your claiming to be accurate simply isnt . . . he said while posting from his laptop using his phone for a modem. :rolleyes:

You wouldn't buy a car based solely on the reviews would you? No, that's what test drives are for.
 
I have to say, I agree with bwana. All the reviews I read state that you can't use the blackberry as a modem, when you actually can - you just have to search a bit. The UI doesn't bother me, maybe it's not for other people but for my purpose it certainly is the best option.

Depends on whether the reviews warrant a test drive, else you will just be wasting your time when you could be test driving sometime else.
