Blade Runner 2 release date announced

Blade Runner 2049 won two Oscars. One for Visual Effects and one for Cinematography.
 
I really enjoyed the movie but it did not have the same impact as the original which is hard to achieve, maybe I should watch it again...

T2 is one one of those movies that is way better than the first one which is very rare.

was a good watch indeed, but like you...the original still gets my vote.

Unless you enjoyed the first one don't bother. I watched the first one and didn't like it, but thought the second one would be better, but it's pretty much the same thing. Dark. Rains all the time. Mundane storyline. IMHO of course.

Just bought it on iTunes for $10. iTunes has an awesome deal where you buy the movie and get all available formats (ie 4k, hd, std)

You mean resolutions, if it was all available formats you'd get mxf (various codecs), uhd bluray, bluray, dvd, mp4 (various codecs) etc ;)
