BLAH BLAH everyone STFU!!

I am gettin sick and tired of seeing the whining.

Everyday I see threads where people express their negativity about the country and then I see threads where people try to counter it by showing the positive aspects of the country etc etc.

Then people make subtle and not so subtle racist and derogitory remarks and people try to counter attack by accusing these people of being who racist, who go into a form of denialism and then the insults fly back and forth. Some people defend the government and others can't stand the fact that there is a black government in place.

The election results are out, lets move on and try and work together to make this country a better place and not turn it into a CUNNTry because thats what its becoming.

Its time for everyone to STFU and start working together. We all live here so we better make the best of our lot instead of whining and fighting all the time.

When the country is going down the tubes, and more some with Jacob Zuma, you can only get so happy.

Not idealizing. Hardly remember it. Point is - they were poised for greatness and squandered it. though considering it could have been many many other viciously vile things.

@zippy - wow that's amazing. should a bcom even have computer training? That's something you should do yourself to exand your skill set. Relying on anyone to teach you pc skills when you are studying something apart from IT is ludicrous and just shows how people expect to be spoonfed. please dont talk about telecoms.

Listen Nika - they basically pissed away all the gains made during apartheid. The main aim was to have a free and fair SA. I would think that they would have used those resources better seeing as those resources came from the oppression of the majority - which is now in power.

 .....wtf?????? How ****ing deluded and brainwashed are u huh?? This forum is filled with apartheid denialists apologists....its ****ing sickening.

Well you certainly aren't a detractor, in fact you sing their praises quite a bit. While it is commendable you want to see the positives, you're only seeing the positives they spin for you instead of going out and finding out facts for yourself. When the blinkers come off you'll be amazed at how **** poor the government are.

And you would obviously know sitting in london what is happening on the ground right?

So because im not spewing out my racist vile, ignorance and supremicist bigotry on the forum im a supporter???? You are teh type of person I absolutely despise, unable to accept, refuse to believe that anyone has benefitted from democracy, that a democratically elected government has provided to its people.

Jeesh, can't this person do anything without insulting and swearing! Hell, please watch your language! RetroBok, You have a say too as a South African no matter where you are!!!

You have been prooved a racist bigot on this forum over and over. Your opinions mean NOTHING.

Are you dense? Does your reasoning have the same narrow focus that your vocabulary so obviously does? Where am I being an apologist for the Apartheid regime. I neve rcommented on what was done to the blacks during that time you illiterate one-tap pony, all I said was that the gains made during apartheid were pissed away. Hell, maybe because I'm not efrikan, I would not like the gains that have been made off the blood of my ancestors pissed away in mass corruption. Then again, maybe because I actually have a brain to start with.

U mean the blood and oppression of the majority right?

Under NO circumstances can apartheid be excused. NONE. No positives NOTHING. Dont even try.

Yes exactly. And if I was part of that majority, I wouldn't want that pissed away for fatcats excesses. How can you not see that? Or do you read racism into everything that is written. My word you're blind. No wonder the ANC can do whatever it wants. It's because of people like you!

Nika , to be making these comments , were you around during the apartheid era ?

I find the irony of posters on here quite funny. You can somehow see the positives under apartheid but cant see anything remotely positive under democracy????

Ah maybe you should have said "all the gains made from when van Reebeck landed" as clearly the word apartheid makes Nika's stress levels go skyhigh.

Testing 1 2 3
*....apartheid.. apartheid.. apartheid... AWB.... apartheid...ANC.... *

OMG!!!!!! WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS????? WHAT POSSIBLY IS POSITIVE ABOUT THIS "DEMOCRACY" Wake up sugar and smell the coffee!!!!!

I rest my case. IDIOT.

Plenty positive things my dear! For one, we were living in peace and harmony without electric fencing, walls, crime, murder, rape and all those things.

O_O

<PLONK>

Life's too short for this ****...

Plenty positive things my dear! For one, we were living in peace and harmony without electric fencing, walls, crime, murder, rape and all those things. Let's see what happens if someone jumps over your wall and rape you or family members, smash your car window or break into your house while you and your family is asleep!

Actually, that was becoming more prevalent towards the tailend of apartheid (late eighties) and was an inevitability if you look at the social dynamics of the situation. The 1994 elections were perfectly timed to enable a peaceful transition (of sorts) between powers...

The fact of the matter is that some people can't separate certain things. An example is Nazism. People cannot distinguish between what happened in the war and what happened prior to it. The Anti-Semitism in Germany was nothing special - it was prevalent thorughout Europe for centuries. Very few states had no pogroms. The fact that the Germans were facetious enough to try put mass-murder into practice properly is another thing altogether. So take away all that anti-semitic stuff and WWII and what do you have? The USA's Republican Party with a dictator instead of democracy. that is the problem when talking with people about events in history - no bothers to look at everything. It's all tidbits that we use to further certain agenda's. It makes talking to people so bloody ridiculous.

@everyone who reads this.... I dare you to find something in my post that defends the actions of the NAzi's during the war years and the fact that they murdered so many people. I just chose not to inckude it into this conversation. THIS PARTICULAR INSTANCE. It doesn't mean it didn't happen, or that it was right. It just means that when talking about certain things - contexts should be used.

Nika , by reading all your previous posts , you dont have the foggiest idea what democracy is . (said in a very polite manner)

This is really good guys. :) I love how you've even taken the "STFU about this stuff" thread and made it into Exactly what he was complaining about.

Especially the newcomers who took their sides perfectly. :D Wouldn't be surprised is Foxxy and Nika were the same person logging in to reply to themselves. 74-76 posts.

True Smokey , but this post is going to go right over Nika's head , I mean all he is interested in is the apartheid still in this country

I understand your pain foxxy. If I was white and had to give up all my priviledges and wake up in the new South africa I would be pissed of to.
